The other night I tried to make Ramen for the firs time. It was too late for me to go out and get real food, so I wound up resorting to the most common of college food staples. I’m not really used to my food coming in brick form, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway.
I have a coffee maker in my room, and I figured that if I made a cup of hot water and let the Ramen sit for a while, it would probably become edible. I was mostly right.
I had made coffee that morning before I went to class and I forgot to take out the filter with all the coffee grounds still in it- when I went to make the Ramen, the water that came out of my machine was brown and smelled like hazelnut coffee.
So basically I brewed my dinner in really weak coffee. It wasn’t bad.
